Transcript:
Croc: Hey. Whuh dis stoopid wall doing here? Zebra: It's more protection from you predators. Croc: Who want talk staring over stoopid wall? Charlie Brown: Mind keeping it down? Croc: Who Meester Beeg Head?
Charlie Brown’s profile wasn’t perfectly round. His forehead flattened out. See today’s strip for an example. A cartoonist who can’t draw freaking Charlie Brown’s head deserves the death penalty.
First of the croc batch left behind by cartoon-Pastis before they tossed him in the slam. And a great cross-over with Peanuts. But the phrase, Bob (?), is not “Meester Beeg Head”; it’s “that round-headed kid”!
Does Zebra really think he needs a wall to protect him from the Crocs? They’ve not been able to get past his hedge for years now! Talk about dumb and dumber. . .
We finally got some crocs. I was starting to think they’d eaten Pastis and a talentless HACK was ghosting for him with a boring soap opera strip about a trial.
Zeebas and crocs. Ahhhh, life is good today. And I can’t wait to see what happens to da beeg head kid.I believe the crossovers can be done the way they are because of the fact that it’s parody. It’s the same way Weird Al can do stuff without direct approval, even though he seeks it anyway.
I think that is a great way to honor Charles Schultz with the small side message along panel 1 “still missing you sparky”. I think all comic artists today still love and respect Charles “Sparky” Schultz.
Stephan is in good standing with the estate of Charles Schultz. He and Craig Schultz (Charles’ son) recently co-wrote a new Peanuts special called “Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown”, that was released to DVD a few months ago.

“Meester Beeg Head” is the way crocs talk…I know, I’ve heard them. These crocs are the best part of this strip….he needs to do more of them.

For all I know, he could be talking about Linus. They’re both pretty big-headed, but there’s only one “round-headed kid”.

I’d like to see the Pointy Haired Boss promote Larry to Dilbert’s supervisor.

Look who’s talking, Larry. You’ve got a pretty big head. Yourself. With more meanings than one.

How Blackadder would describe that wall: “A terrifying obstacle. About as frightening as a little rabbit with the word ‘boo’ painted on its nose.”
