This is either one of Susie’s best days or her worst. She’s had her nemesis bow down before her, and now is oft to greater pursuits, or, she’s decided to be a parasite.

Guess Susie wears the pants in this family.

Calvin had her pegged all the time. Unfortunately, Hobbes is blinded by his love of the oposite sex.

Notice that Susie refers to Hobbes as ’"the tiger" rather than by his actual name.

Susie should ‘invest’ more time in her family. I don’t put much ‘stock’ in her modus operandi.

I believe this is the one time (and only one time) that Hobbes appears animated while there is anyone other than Calvin in the frame. In the third panel; and Hobbes is behind Suzie’s back.

This one is hilarious!!! After all Calvin is very innocent, and adorable.

This is a problem when two highly directive types get together: each wants to run the show. Susie, the extrovert, immediately sets not only the game, but the roles each will take. Poor Calvin!

Boy, are we seeing the personalities of these characters coming to the fore, or what? This cartoon really gave me a laugh – much needed these days in my life.

If Hobbes is the house-husband, why is Calvin the bratty kid in day-care?

and what’s moe? the cruel school-house teacher?

I think Hobbes should have been a second Rudyard Kipling, World Wildlife Manager, or poet. Maybe Tiger S. Elliot. How about a golfer like Tiger Woods.

A great life lesson: when you listen to a “pea brain”, all you’re going to do is find yourself in trouble!

@Dogsniff: Sorry, it’s too risky for me to agree to become the official liaison for this site. It’s a very slippery slope. Soon, people would be asking me to contact GoComics with billing questions for their Pro accounts. After I straightened out all of those problems, I would begin to get requests to contact Bill Watterson and ask him to join our group. Once I had Bill on board, people would ask me to have conversations with the ghost of Charles Schulz. Then Elvis. After that, it would become “the sky’s the limit,” and people would begin to ask me to contact the Pope and the Dalai Lama, in order to convince them to convert to Calvinism. If I accomplished that, then who knows where that might lead. So, apologizing in advance, I remain, Unwilling.

I never used that feature. It sounds like too much of an in-your-facebook thing to me.

I think the comments can provide enough feedback, whether positive or negative. As you have probably seen, some of the artists have even communicated on this forum as well.

Another argument against the “thumbs up/down” was that they were easily manipulated—someone used to come by certain strips and regularly give +10s or -10s at their whim. And then flagged (and got removed) comments that tried to get around their shenanigans, or objected to their heavy handedness.
