Angry birds!

Cartoon moon (angled wrong for the Northern Hemisphere, as usual)!

Looks fine to me. The bulge of the crescent is pointing towards the remains of the sunset, as it’s supposed to.Beyond that, it’s a cartoon, artistic license is allowed.

Alain, tonight the quarter moon looked just like this here in the Northern Hemisphere.

If Rose channeled Vicki, then it would certainly be MORE romantic.

Apparently the birds don’t approve of birdwatching, but they are watching the lovebirds, Rose and Jimbo.

Alain: Not necessarily. It could be winter and those are snow flakes as well as stars. Although I can’t see the romantic angle unless there is more water and it’s heated.

Abadaba: Not all – night herons, nighthawks, chimney swifts, etc. – although I will grant you, I can’t think of any that frequent bird baths.

Birds don’t stay up after dark (most) and Jimbo will not leave tiki torches on when they retire- so it spoils the joke- but cute , as always.
