yeah. get rid of reading, including all the words in comic strips.I’m a book publisher. We are seeing people migrate to e-books but we aren’t seeing people want to get rid of books. This current story line doesn’t have anything to do with actual reality at all.

“Actual reality”? As opposed to what? It was real in his reality so it might be actual. Or “It’s actually real.” So it could be factual if it was also true. Actually it’s factually reality. It’s reality when it’s factually actually real.Really, I’m actually saying it’s factual.Enough, already!

The interactive point is relevant and good. There’s much good in opening up new modes of expression such as mash-ups. It’s senseless to resist the introduction of new things. Imagine the excitement of our 12-word language if no new words were allowed in. However there’s ALSO no virtue in being a nazi promoting the new ways as replacing the old, or vice versa. Airheads who function at no level higher than text messages are nothing new, they’re just the ones who 20 years ago never read anything more advanced than TV Guide (and not the articles :).
