Dill: Now make the bee do something useful. Alice: BEE-GO FIX ME A BOLOGNA SANDWICH. Bee: BUZZ Alice: RUN! Benie: RUN! Dill: RUN! Alice: Hey, that's a june bug! Ha! Don't I feel silly. Dill: No wonder it tried to sting us.
June bugs used to fill our neighborhood pool at night when the light was turned on. Really gross even though they are harmless. Another great toon, Richard’s on a roll this week.

Even Alice can over-reach! Who ever heard of a bee making a bologna sandwich?! Now hot, buttered toast, slathered with honey—that’s another story!

I remember as a child putting June Bugs on a string. Incidently…They don’t sting.

June Bugs are annoying and they eat the heck out of your roses.

The most useful thing a june bug can do is attach itself to a screen door and pop off in unison with fifty other june bugs.

I prefer not to touch bugs- squash crawling one indoors (between papers) and try to release pollinators if they come inside.
