@3hourtour – the women that go for the ‘bad boy’ do seem to follow that trope, don’t they?

There are more than just two types of guys in the world, boring and bad boys. A guy can be non-boring without being a “bad boy” What really bothers me about Dr. Kline is that he’s so stuck on himself. By extension (I’m a lot like Lila in many ways), I think this is what bothers Lila too. He’s boring because he can only converse on one subject, himself. He’s boring because he can imagine only one lifestyle, his. I’ve met guys like that, in several different professions. They are BORING. I’ve also met guys in those same professions who are interesting, but not bad boys.Where did the various commenters here get the idea that Lila wanted a bad boy? She just wants someone who’s not shallow and self-absorbed.

ugh, i thought this was a good comic until today. I ditto ryannina’s sentiment. Facepalm!

We need to start a pool on what kills the kid faster: cancer or bad parental influence.
