Don’t have to be. I have two daughters and both of them knew how to manipulate from the get go. Women have always known how to manipulate. It is in their nature. Goes back to Eve getting Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.
One of my boys was taken care of by a baby sitter while I worked. He was always at the storm door, jumping for joy when I came for him in evenings. One evening, instead of turning up the walk, just walked on by. Sitter was wondering why his joy suddenly turned to Waaaaah! (I did go back and get him)
Just like I said when Elly dropped her off that morning . . . once Lizzy started playing with new toys and making new friends, her mommy’s earlier “abandonment” would be the furthest thing from her mind!
