The “back seats” of Porsches of that era were truly a joke…I think this is supposed to be a 928 (maybe a 944), and with the front seats in a normal position, would could only carry toddlers (not in a child seat…legal back then) or short people who had double amputations at the knees.
And of course, now that status-seeking baby boomers are aging, Porsche makes four-door sedans and SUVs! What’s with that?
Man up, Steve! What do you know about “intense pains” anyhow? Your wife will soon be pushing the equivalent of a watermelon through a keyhole and she’ll probably be complaining less about it then than you are right now!
Watch your driving. Nearby some years back, a car ran off the road, mother died, but baby ripped loose in the impact and found alive in the weeds. (She is now a healthy adult) I’ve heard of violent deaths, but this was the first violent birth.

Maybe she’ll have it in the car. Which one of these “geniuses” will know what to do?

In my line of work, I’ve seen many husbands go toes up when baby was delivered away from the hospital. And then swear to celibacy.
