I remember in grade school a guy swallowed an Alka-Seltzer whole and then had a soda. Or maybe that was a story I read. Anyway, it didn’t go well.

I actually knew a science teacher who did it as part of a class experiment with different sodas. The kids were impressed.
Science classes are dumbing down (with others) -it is a shame!
