I don’t understand what problem Susan had yesterday -her browser or ?? I did a restart last night when I went to bed. Things can sometimes get sticky when the PC has not had a restart in over a week. It’s easier for me to leave all my tabs open on this site, my home page and FB page – and another for misc browsing. Even with all my shortcuts….
I did not think Burl touched it; I thought Rick had been playing before he turned around- and Fool Coverage is appropriate, but 14 wrecks are covered, but only 2 hail dents? And if the current damage was NOT covered, this is the 15th, and no liability (because nothing is their fault)
Well……..vldazzle brings up an interesting point. I shut my computer down before I go to bed at night. Is is better to leave it on 24/7 or to shut it down??
Thanks Dave and yeah, guys, back on the 80’s it was a geek rule to leave your computer on all the time, as rebooting was the hardest thing for them to do.
< br>But modern computers run many more programs in the background, probably hundreds instead of a handful, and have a zillion (approximately, of course) files on them instead of a thousand, and reboot in moments.
Any file or background program can corrupt or otherwise go astray over the course of a day, so the nerdy types I know say to reboot daily. I close everything and shut down every night. As for yesterdays comments it’s a website glitch, nothing to do with my computer or El Guapo’s. Might be regional. The page opens, and looks the same as always, even says 20 comments, but they’re not there, just like on 9CL, where the forum has been closed for two years.
Could it be that the Pennys should have a “mandate” for auto insurance before Joy drives or that Rick should have one for his health insurance before he skis? Or can I just game the system like they want to and save my premiums until I wreck my car or get sick?
It’s time the govt. stepped in and did some serious ‘reform’ for car insurance (letting pre-existing problems be insured.) Hey, they’ve done that for health insurance. After that, I want home insurance and life insurance reform too!

If good ol’ Rick actually sells the retroactive insurance they’re looking for I’m giving him a call.
And Joy, can you spell LIABILITY? I didn’t think so.
Have you heard there are other people on the planet?Sigh…… I didn’t think so.
Anyway, today a bumper, next week, who knows… when you’re the only driver who matters, things happen, and you’re never to blame.
No wonder they’re always at the used car dealership.

Meanwhile, good morning Marg and Leaky, and all you other Crustwoodians, when you arrive.
I’m going to bed — hope there’s still some coffee when I get up. I could bring some grapes.
I never could see yesterday’s comments; still can’t. So I don’t know whether anyone else reported the same problem.
