Must be the car Tracy and Sam drove through the door to rescue HoneyMoon Looks like it still has the primer on the rear fender from the repair shop. Must be really short on vehicles at the police station.

“Customers” coming in about an hour? More terrorists wanting to stock up on those abundant 10-pound sacks of ammonium nitrate? —With the two big gals and with possible additional baddies coming, Lizz and Dick may really need back-up!

I like the retro style of the police car. I wonder what make and model it is.

An unmarked car might have been a good idea in this case.

Wonder if Tracy had the rooftop beacon flashing as they snuck in. It’s times like this that I wonder if Locher’s Thick is still lurking in the bushes.

Did anyone besides me see the article in USA Today about the syndicated comic’s Sunday 9/11 strips. Really looking forward to seeing what Mike and Joe do.

That’s one thing I always liked about Jay Maeder’s Annie. Ever since 2002, he would never let an anniversary go by withoutout remembering 9/11. Few other strips did the same. Here’s Mike’s chance. Let’s see what he does.

I looked at today’s strip on another site and the color of the police car and the lights on top are totally different.

Another color screw up by Go Comics.

I don’t think that pulling up in the squad car is as big a flub as some of the comments would make it seem. Tracy asked for and received a search warrant. I would imagine that standard procedure in a case like this would be to walk up, knock, and identify yourself as a police officer. Obviously, the MCS has suspicions, but we also have to remember, they do not have the luxury of reading the strip every day like we do! We obviously know things that Tracy and crew do not. From the police perspective, I believe this would be a time to look around and ask questions, not a “SWAT”- style break down the doors, shoot first ask questions later situation. Although, as readers, we know that time may quickly approach…

Hmm.. Wonder if the new customers are friends of the old ones.I also wonder what other stuff might be in the notebook Lee Ebony found. To bad Tellum “Interfered with a Federal Investigation” or they might have had that notebook a whole week earlier. Wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Gloria’s “customers” also have some cops with a search warrant knocking on their door.

Given that they suspect Morning Gloria is selling ammonium nitrate to terrorists, I’d expect a lot more law-enforcement officers on the scene. Jim Trailer should be there. Maybe we’ll see them in the next few days.
