Both are right. For the back seat driver knows where to go. The GPS is better for long distance driving in unfamiliar areas. My daughter and finance used GPS going to CO and made their destination or they would have been lost.
Back-seat GPS may be cheaper—but the regular GPS is irritating enough!

Yeah back-seat drivers are annoying, but you never hear a GPS ask ‘Are we there yet?’.
