Why don’t you pass the time with a nice game of solitaire?

Glad someone heard a little HAL in there. I’m doing a mash-up of “War Games” and “2001”. This is based on a real toy I bought my son. Pretty sophisticated little thing, and I always imagined it trying to take over the world.

@Brian: Does it have a mouse friend named “Pinky”? If so, we should be safe. That electronic “Brain” will most likely over think his “Evil Schemes”…

This is good timing — just last night I watched the terrible, horrible, awful sequel to War Games for the first time. Now I need to watch the first one again to get the sequel out of my mind! (26 year old high school students?! Now that’s just ridiculous!!!)

Brian, are we dealing with The Ultimate Toy from Daystrom Electronic Entertainments? (sorry, missed Hal, everyone else jumped on Joshua, so I went with the M-5)

RIP John Wood. My favourite part of War Games. (yep — Joshua WOPR sprang to my mind as well.)

At first I though HAL! (where’s the obelisk?) Then saw the comments on Joshua & WORP (we must watch the same space). But never connected with Number 5. ,I think to be safe – Doug should just place tic tac toe. That always ends in a tie.
