I don’t think sitting in front of the candy machine is going to help. That would put me back on the seefood diet for sure!

Poor Roy has to … gasp Eat LESS , While that ZAGNUT bar hangs there…taunting him!~~~~~~~~~~~~~BTW, Zagnut bar wrappers are red with the name in Blue, same as a CLARK bar. (Why did they have to sell and move out of Pittsburgh?)

When I first drew that candy machine, I wasn’t putting realistic detail into the strip. I just wrote Zagnut, because it was a funny name. Still, by keeping it that unrealistic yellow, it falls short of actual product placement.

I admit I don’t know much about how Weight Watchers works, but that doesn’t seem like a good motivation to lose weight.

I’m diabetic as well. There are some really good sugar free candies out there. I don’t imagine Zagnut is one of them. Sure wish Milky Way and M&M’s were, though.

Been there, Roy. It’s pure torture adjusting to smaller portions over and over (and over) again.Sugar-free chocolate? That’s even WORSE torture, because they ruined perfectly good chocolate and leached out all the taste.

Owing to trademark concerns and to provide plausible deniability, it could possibly be a Lagnut bar behind the coil, a delicious non-sugared natural nutrient bar that tastes exactly like a Zagnut but costs a quarter.

Roy, I’m not sure with Weight Watchers – but shouldn’t you be able to eat the same number of points if you exercised? You know – like the computer data in and data out?

Dennis Wiles You can still get Zaganut bar at the Publix store near me in Florida. They also have Zero bars and some of the classic candy bars from the eighties and before. If you have a Publix in your area you should be able to special order them and the store will charge you fr them. If you dont have a Publix near you then you can go to http://www.nostalgiccandy.com/ or http://www.hometownfavorites.com/ and you may be able to find them their.

Hunter7 The reason that they cut his points is as you lose weight you burner few calories than when you were at a heavier weight.

I remember Zero and Zagnut all the way back to the sixties. I also liked Milkshake, which I thought was Mars’ answer to Milky Way.
