I was wondering who would figure out that one can use animations in comic strips. I’ve only seen one other, Jeph Jacques who does the webcomic Questionable Content, used the format a couple of times in the last few weeks. If there are others, I would sure like to know.

“In the Fall of 2011, you were blown-away by the non-stop, brutal action of ‘Crossword’. Now prepare to have your world rocked, Ninja-style! Coming soon to a theatre near you, ‘SuDoKu’!”

This is incredible! Samson, you have outdone yourself! I rate ‘Crossword’ 5 stars!

I’m getting the animation up to the point where the “camera” starts to do a close-up on Horace, then it starts over again. Is there a main DSotH site where I can see the whole thing?

I look forward to seeing Horace in “Acrostica” and “Scrabbler”. I’ll be very upset if Samson changes any of them in 30 years with computer graphics or unnecessary dialogue, though.

@Samson, this is a good strip without animation, but today’s was even better than usual. Nice job!

Like it or not, it’s the next evolution in comics… and the inevitable result of their being on the Web.
