I remember the days when, (as a girl) I only needed to have my guard up around flirty guys and “dirty old men.” I felt safe with girls, doctors, clergy, police, etc. Now I can’t lower my guard around ANYBODY. That’s exhausting. I still can’t trust guys, but now I’m wary around “dirty old women”, TSA workers and of course, doctors, clergy, police, etc. ……..
