Katy: Why is some cheese orange? Adam: Well, an ancient times, there was a herd of special orange cows that wandered the lands looking for a place to settle. Katy: "Special" how? Adam: These cows produced amazing cheese, but they had a genetic defect that caused their hooves to fuse together. Katy: Weird. Adam: Everywhere they went, the citizens refused to let the strange-footed bovines stay...until they came upon the town of cheddar, England. Katy: Why did the people of cheddar let the cows stay? Adam: Well, they recognized the special orange cheese these cows could make...and more importantly... They were "Lack Toes tolerant".
