Pilot: Ladies and gentlemen, from the flight deck, we've started our descent into Des Moines...
????
Isn’t Iowa the corn state Marg?? I think.
DOH Thanks, Dogsniff.
More corny than most of Scott’s strips.
I love popcorn!
Des Moines, Iowa grows a lot of corn. The pressure has caused their ‘ears’ to ‘pop’ . Just popped some on top of the stove Saturday night. Lovely sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
my ears always pop too
Des Moines is capital city of U.S. state of Iowa. Iowa grows a lot of corn.
Wouldn’t they just have one ear pop? And just where are their seatbelts for this landing? Just not believable at all…;-)
awww shucks!
looks like the ocean in the window views!?!?!
they should have left in their “earphones”
Hang on to your ears.
The worst is when you get stuck between two husky guys…
Time to near some Husker Du.
A-maize-ing!
the pilot’s rank is kernal
DFrog: As usual, your comments are pretty pithy.
Scott is really getting an earful on this one…
Amaizing! Quite the chummy cobbers.
I hope the ac doesn’t fail on this flight they could all pop.
I hope their ‘ears’ don’t pop all the way!
Ha! Ha! So corny! I won’t mind sitting by them, popcorn is my favorite snack. The higher they get, the more their ears will pop!
This comic and your jokes are all corny.
I’m surprised No 6 or one of our other pals from across the pond didn’t point out that it looks like they’re having a right knees-up.
Too quaint probably. :)
But yeah, they need to fasten their seed belts.
If there were ratings here I would give this clever strip a rare 5/5
Nah; it’s not all flat—rolling hills at least in some parts. Also very rich, black soil.
I do not see that as being an issue.
