Slim, I have to agree with Dkram’s picks on the ladies. I know who Isabella Rosellini is, but the only film I’ve seen her in is that one with Goldie Hawn and Merrill Streep where they can’t die. As for the guys, George Clooney would be the “Oceans” movies, especially 13. Charles Laughton would be “The Canterville Ghost” and I’m not familiar with John Cusack’s movies.
Rita, hang in there. This too will pass. My favorite words in the Bible are “it came to pass”. It didn’t come to stay…..
Here’s another question,,,,,WHO WAS YOUR FIRST ACTOR/ACTRESS CRUSH.???The one you couldn’t, even today, forget. Can’t remember where or when I saw mine but, I renenber who she was.
Good morning, Villagers,.Feeling much better today! Thanks, Jan for your encouragement! Means a lot to me!.Slim…….I love your games. Just going along for the ride right now, so……Ray Milland …………..Dial M for Murder!! What a movie! Bette Midler……..anything that she puts on the 40’s costumes.!.First Actor crush:………FABIAN!!!! Watched him for years on American Bandstand, then saw him in several movies (North to Alaska), and of course looking back now, he was a terrible actor. However, went to a live show that he headlined when I was about 16 or 17, and I actually met him, and shook his hand. Didn’t wash that hand for a week!.Can you tell I’m feeling better (you can’t shut me up)
My first "Oh Wow gal was Ann Miller. It was in my “girls are scary” days. (Oh, what a fool { was in those days, but I’ve never really gotten over it). I had a lot of girl friends over the years, but not many girlftriends.Anhyway….. Ann Miller was a dancer with such long lovely legs. I can’tr remember the name of the movie that caught me, but I still remember the outfit she wore that displayed those legs.Ah,,,youthful daydreams..
MontanLady, wonderful to hear the srength in your words. Won’t be long before you and your MountainMan are out there roaming the Northwest again.Don’t stop doing what you’re doing right now. It’s working!
