This is a variation of an original DT series that ran WAAAAY back in the 30’s. And I LIKE IT!Btw, uh morgueritem, it’s been a while since I’ve been here, but have you lost some weight?
Hah! Good thing Crutch doesn’t know who “Beak” really is! And in a certain practical sense, it’s good that Tess doesn’t , either. Wouldn’t want her to queer the do, as the Brits say.
Tracy, er……..“Beak”! Don’t lose your senses with all the excitement! GET THE MONEY! And later on, when they aren’t looking, set Tess free! As Rahm Emanuel sez, “Don’t let a good crisis (read that ‘opportunity’) go to waste!” Then you have the money to buy her a ring!
Just a word from Mike. Joe and I applaud the incredible inking job Shelley did on this particular strip. When we first saw it, we were knocked out! She is an incredible talent and we are lucky to have her!

The art is very realistic today. Tess does not look anything like a cartoon.

If memory serves, in the original story, Big Boy forces Tess to drive the “get-away” car for the bank heist which goes all wrong for the crooks.

Wow! Even by recent standards, the artwork today is absolutely stunning. I love this strip so much!

Love seeing Tess in her younger days. You can see why Tracy fell for her—she’s HOT!

They definitely aren’t the brightest lights on the tree. They would, however, make good Chicago politicians!

What he said. Amazing art. Tess is scared and angry; Dick is a literal foreshadowing of the gang’s doom.

I bet Tess will know it’s Tracy by his cologne!

Or maybe his touch!
