Conservatives use a corrupted version of the Constitution from which someone has purged “separation of church and state”, “right to privacy”, and “right to healthcare”. Even worse, it gives the Federal Government only a short list of duties, and leaves most governmental functions to the states.Republicans use a similar version, except they interpret the phrase “interstate commerce” to mean that the Federal Government can spend all the money it wants as long as it involves more than one state.
