I asked Tony, an illustrator for Lila about the artwork in Trace’s office at The Andy Warhol School and yes, you were right, it was “Ohio” as abstract art. I didn’t even notice it. Thanks to those who discovered it, and Happy Friday!
A Lila reader from Wichita found an error in this strip. The first panel should say “spatial relationships,” not special relationships. We clearly have very smart and observant readers! Thanks :-)
I knew you had a way out for Annie without getting “Funky” on us. Annie has run her course on this strip and it’s time to get back to what’s important on this strip: shoes and laziness.

Just remember Lila, Even a clock that doesn’t work is right twice a day.

I figure Lila’s sub-average intelligence and loose grasp on responsibility can be a good check on Annie’s hyper-intelligence. Right?

Spatial, not special.

Kinda get sick of Lila’s ’I’m dumb’. I highly doubt someone that was kind enough to hang with a sick little girl and then adopt her is that dumb.

I hope you’re kidding, Charlie. Barcelona is in Spain. They make nice shoes too if that helps.

Why not just send that child to GATE school. It means Gifted and Talented Education.
