And don’t you dare throw out that Ziploc bag, Timmy. They can be washed and reused hundreds of times.

    Good Morning Crustwood!

At last! A lovely big Dinette Set graphic to start the day…..

just in time for …….(brrrrrr) …..

asphyxiated butterflies, a peering eye…. and “Silence of the Lambs.”

Burl is, indeed, a friend to no one.

But these deadly people don’t even know the havoc they wreak.

I can’t help comparing poor Timmy to those ill-fated butterflies — which,BTW, do seem to have a little flutter left in them.

As soon as you’re old enough, Timmy – please, fly away!

    Fly far; fly fast!

On a lighter note (I hear you all saying “about time!”) -

Thanks to anybody who thanked me yesterday, if I didn’t already thank you later in the day….. heck, even if I did….thanks again, though I hope you read it then.

Ok, now I’m all tangled up in that sentence. Help.

And anyway, I didn’t do anything.

    Julie did it.

    Thanks Julie.

We have some monarchs in our yard, now that we have some milkweed. I don’t think they leave Florida to go to Mexico like the northern monarchs do, since milkweed grows year ’round here.

Probably dead white Cabbage Moths that she put a little food coloring on. No way they run around catching them for no monetary gain.

Insects, though they will die evenutally due to lack of oxegen, seem to survive a little longer than higher up forms of life. I guess they don’t use up as much oxygen as we do. So they may still have a little flutter, albeit a weak one. And having said the higher life forms use up more oxygen, I guess the Penny’s could live for weeks in and air tight jar!

I love all winged creatures (except those that bite me). Actually I tolerate all the wasps, bees etc in my garden because they are polinators and I get very close without bites (because I don’t swat). Mosquitos and fire ants are my real enemies ;-(
