Have you noticed the dial phone Rosalyn is using? A pay phone is not such a bad idea at a public place, not everyone has a working cell phone or wants you to use theirs. Older establishments may still have them.

Mom must not hear Calvin clearly to recognize his voice or what he’s hollering. Otherwise, she is incredibly gullible to believe it’s the TV! Her wanting to stay out later might be clouding her “Sense and Sensibility”.

Oh, Mom recognizes his voice all right. It’s so nice to have a babysitter that you can put your full faith in.

I love the old fashioned phones with the round dial!

Isn’t Rosalyn at her wits end by now?

Remember, This was written in the ’70’s-’80’s so they still had pay phones, a few rotary phones and phone booths.

Payphones, dial telephones…ahhhh…the good life. What Calvin needs is a good stereo he can play really loud and get Rosalyn’s goat bigtime…..Right now on my computer here at the Senior Center I’m listening to Club 1.Fm’s blues channel. Great stuff. Drink a buncha coffee and you ready to go..yowza…
