Tiffany goes to Hollywood and becomes the next Lindsey Lohan and then we lose this clueless character and focus on the real characters in this strip. I can dream anyway.

Actually. Greg never said Pitts is near San Diego. It’s supposed to be a typical American suburb, and Greg has never given anyone GPS coordinates. (I happen to know it’s right next to Riverdale, but I digress.).The cast shows up at ComicCon, natch, so more literal readers have decided that around SD is its locale. But it’s been demonstrated over and over again that “reality” only intrudes when it serves a purpose. Most of the time real world actions or “rules” are pretty inconsistent– that’s cuz it’s a comic. Seriously, who carries around their plane tickets a month before the flight? Who even has paper plane tickets these days, let alone ones as big as a menu? Reality will make you crazy here if you insist on applying it consistently..Pitts is as far from LA on any given day as Greg wants it to be.

Anyone notice how relatively few comments there are on this theme vs. the Toni/Brad/(Ann) theme?

Quill actually made it clear that he was never interested in Tiffany, and finds Luann more of the type of girl he likes to be around.

Tiffany is acting like she hit the danged lottery. Quill isn’t exactly thrilled by her reaction and both Crystal & Luann are both shocked and put off by Tiff’s over the top display. If that is how she acts, it’s not Kosher, cause it’s PURE HAM!! /// Maybe Quill will rebook his flight so he does not have to deal with Miss Airhead!

When was Quill ever Tiff’s boyfriend?And no one is cheating. No one shown here today is in anything like a relationship with anyone at all.Anyway, Quill is showing yet another new expression, this can be added to the amazing look of revulsion that Toni had for Ann.

Of all characters in all comic strips, Crystal would be the one I would most like to meet in “real life”. Unless she insisted on reading poetry. And our purported ages were much closer.

It can be fun, if Quill allows it to be. Here’s a pretty girl that wants to be with him, unlike the pretty girl he is leaving in Pittsville with her commitment problems. See Luann? You don’t even have him yet you seem upset. Be happy. With Tiffany around, do you think any of the hotties in LA will have a crack at him?

We’ve seen Quill handle himself with Tiffany before. He’s not clueless, he’s polite – but this little adventure will probably tax his diplomacy to the uttermost limit. We’ve seen that he likes Luann, but knows he may fly back to Oz at any time, so he doesn’t want to get hurt, or hurt anyone else. Rather than seeing this trip as an excuse to get jiggy with Tiffany, I’m afraid it’s going to be torture for him.

As for Tiffany, she’s basically evil – I see her motivations as twofold: 1) get Quill as her very own boyfriend, and failing that, 2) make Luann as jealous as possible out of spite.

Anyone ever hear somebody say, “This is the pits…” about their home town? All kids come from the pits, sometime during their growing-up.

I’m still happy to see that Quill is disapointed about traveling with Tiffany.

She’s the reason most airports have the covered loading bridges. The whistling sound from her ears was driving the other passengers nuts.

Poor Luann. She thought she could string Quill along and have him without ever committing to anything. Now Tiff is back in the picture and she is gonna put on the full-court-press. And all you will do is sit and watch it happen. Because you will not upgrade your “buddy” relationship with Quill – even if it means losing him.

Take heart though, Luann. Quill has been in Pittsville a while now. Perhaps he has also fallen victim to the chemicals there that cause low horomone levels. By now he may have no testosterone at all.

Anybody looking for Pitts or any of its possible variations must never have read a novel in which the author puts a fake town name in a real country among real names. I like the comment that someone said that high school is the pits – makes as much sense as anything else I’ve seen. I wonder if Brad (not Degroot) is trying to figure out why there is so much discussion about his last name. He’ll probably have a long discussion with Angelina about it `snicker`.

C’mon what could happen on a cross country plane trip? They don’t allow too much time in the bathroom anymore for admittance in the Mile High Club.(I just wanted to do the 100th post for today. I guess it’s like my “FIRST”)

I actually enjoy it. There is so much nonsense on this board – some very active imaginations here, to put it politely – it’s good to have people/someone cut through it and try to explain things to the clueless.

Barbara, if you’re going to be bitchy, don’t do it in half measures. Come right out and say the name of the person you’re personally attacking. People are allowed to disagree with what anyone else posts, and it takes all sorts of personalities to make a board.

For instance, Wiselad can find anything about the strip, but he’ll also chase down every niggling detail and strangle it to death, and that’s part of his personality. So what? I don’t see mojitobaby posting anything that she can’t defend. At length, you bet. I learned a few things today I didn’t know before. She mentioned she’s a history teacher, so if someone’s going to post something in that line that’s not quite accurate, of course she’ll probably challenge it. If Gordon Ramsay saw me trying to cook, he’d step in and take the knife away from me because that’s what he does and it’s painful to see someone muck it up. I get corrected by a lot of different people when I post something that’s wrong – it happened just the other day. Maybe I should have told them to all go p-whip their SO, huh?

The Sheriff will debunk anything posted about the comic industry that’s incorrect, raulybarra will set you straight about IT in a heartbeat. Anyone who has any specialized knowledge does the same. So what exactly is your problem?

Yeah the way Greg draws the front of pants looks like a camel toe a lot. It’s especially funny when Brad’s drawn with them.

We all know what’s going to happen now, won’t we? Monday Luann will whine and cry to Delta and Bernice who will once again tell her to shut up, grow up and move on. Then come December, Tiffany will successfully steal Quill and when they come back home Quill will tell Luann it’s over and she’ll once again whine and cry to Delta and Bernice, who will once again tell her to shut up, grow up and move on. Next, Luann will whine and cry to Mrs. Horner, who will tell Luann to let Quill go and accept Gunther for what he is. Finally, Quill returns to Austraila, gets that new Sheila he warned Luann about and she’ll cry an ocean of tears over it as everyone forces her into a miserable, loveless, unsatisfying marriage with Gunther where she’ll be unhappy forever.

This is why I think Greg Evans made a VERY BIG MISTAKE getting rid of Aaron Hill. He was the ONLY ONE who ever cared for Luann. Don’t your remember when they held hands at the Halloween party and when they talked for hours at the library? Has Quill done any of that? NO! Would Gunther do any of that! NO, because Luann won’t let him because he’s a loser geek nerd who will never amount to anything.

If I were Luann, come Monday I’d find a tire iron, pummel Tiffany with it until she’s a bloody pulp, tell off Quill for not committing, tell her so-called friends Delta and Bernice off for not being true friends to her, run away to Hawaii, reunite with Aaron Hill, run away with him to Mexico, get married and have a bazillion kids, and she will be happily ever after.

I DEMAND that Greg Evans bring Aaron Hill back, or else the Universe will collapse upon itself because the cosmic balance has been out of alignment since he was dropped from the strip, which has led to all the recent horrific events that have been happening in the world. Only by having Luann and Aaron Hill together forever will the cosmic balance ever be restored.

Some very strange people making comments here. Personally, I think Greg does a great job and I’m content to let the “Captain” run the ship…he’s been doing it for a long time.

Not quite at 16 – met her when 17 and was married at 22. Am 74 now and still married to her. Mostly good times – some arguments. But someone said if 2 people get along ALL the time, one of them is unnecessary.
