I know what you thought. They don’t have homes, they don’t have jobs, what do they need the top of a muffin for? They’re lucky to get the stumps.

With more realistic methods Earl has the right idea. There are growing movements (no pun) where rooftops in large cities of all sizes, and community gardens are feeding people. Gardeners are encouraged to grow extra to feed the hungry. Even those with homes might enjoy fresher cheaper food that has a much smaller carbon footprint because of less fuel used for transportation of food from thousands of miles away.
