Good Evening…It’s Sparkle Plenty-Tracy!

No one, I mean no one gets the drop on Honeymoon Tracy, see?

She seems a bit high-strung. Perhaps she’s suffering from PTSD.

Good morning Dick Tracy fans! I just received the latest volume of Tracy reprints. It includes the continuity in which Chief Brandon resigns due to his error in judgment regarding Big Frost, which, of course, ties in with the recent Brandon shooting, etc. Wonderful material! Continued praise for the current creative team! I haven’t been this excited about the Dick Tracy strip since I was a kid.

I thought the team treated Lizz and Tess with dignity, but Sparkle.. WOW!

That just leaves Vitamin Flintheart… where is he?

Sparkle is looking good! And as for Honeymoon—-the kid’s terrific (not to mention dangerous)!

Once more, so very happy to see the Dick Tracy comic strip really shining again.

Sparkle looks great! I like Honeymoon’s earrings. They remind me of her mom.

Someone enlighten me on this please. This girl is Sparkle Jr, daughter of Junior and his second wife Sparkle Plenty, right? that makes her half sister to Honeymoon, daughter of Junior and Moonmaid. Am I right? I know Moonmaid was killed. Is Honeymoon still in the strip? If I remember right Honeymoon was born with antennae, am I correct? If she’s still in the strip, does she still have those antennae?

And we’re off to a great start on another story! This was a real “reach out and grab you” strip, but you probably don’t want to do that to Honeymoon!

John Pelt has it right. In the silhouette scene, from left to right we have Sparkle Plenty-Tracy (see first post) the current wife of Junior Tracy, right of her is their daughter Jewel Tracy sometimes referred to as Sparkle Plenty Jr. (Can a girl even be a Jr?), right of her is Joseph Flintheart Tracy the son of Dick Tracy and Tess Trueheart-Tracy, to his right is Junior Tracy aka John “Jackie” Steele the adopted son of Dick & Tess Tracy, to his right is Honeymoon “Honey” Tracy the daughter of Junior Tracy and his first wife (now deceased) Mysta “Moon Maid” Tracy.As idesama has already stated, Honeymoon does have antennae, they are covered by her two ponytails that come out of the top of her head. This is something that her parents started doing very soon after her birth, so she could pass as a normal “human” child. They couldn’t do anything about her eyes though. Although not visible in today’s strip, Honeymoon has a second ring around her pupils. What, if any, benefits this may provide, have never been shown. In her youth, she had “magnetic fingers”, this ability has also not been seen for some time. It is unknown if she still has it or not. That is all up to Mike Curtis at this point.

This IS Honeymoon, and she keeps her antennae covered by her hair she wears in poney tails.

How old are Joe and Jewel?

Perhaps the Antenna are concealed in those pigtails?

Yes, AND… be sure to remove your original cards and documents from the machine. I once needed a copy of a receipt and so went to a supermarket’s public photocopier, lifted the lid and found somebody else’s license AND Social Security card sitting on the glass!

Are those real bones?

Who’s with Junior? I thought Moon Maid was dead!
