Clem is practicing politics already… never satisfied with no matter how many goodies he has in front of him, grasping and greedy for what everyone else has on top of whatever he already has… Oh, wait, maybe I’m describing Scrooge? Nah, Scrooge had a change of heart and doing anything good gives Clem nightmares!

Clem must be a republican!

Clem will be right over to get his 99%.

And if anyone else has anything, that’s mine also.

Clem is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. He is a comic strip character. Period. Why do you have to bring in politics into something that isn’t real??? And if you feel you have to tear me down, go ahead. You are only showing those who read this, and possible your children etc, that you aren’t the person you could be. You won’t be hurting me at all with your words.

To Don Wimmer (and Pat Brady) – Thank you for your work. I get a smile most days I read it.

Forget all the political nonsense there’s more than enough of that rubbish than this country needs. Clem is just plain greedy.

You guys take ALL the fun out of the Sunday comics. Seriously!

Besides, this is too cute to fight over – It’s all relative – what is plenty for some is meager to others (don’t spoil your children or they could turn into a Clem.

Yes, it’s the 11% of the work force who are union members that make the rest of us 99% ’ers sooo ungrateful for the generosity of the 1%.

Am I the only one who hates Clem? I greatly dislike all the strips he appears in.

Clem is just like other strips. We all need somone to hate, and we have Clem. Just go with it, its a comic.
