This was written after I left with, with an empty feeling in my heart. I headed north from SoCal and wounf up along the coast up in Mendocino County.
Tall firs on a foggy ridgePeer dimly at a restless sea. A wave rises up, then crashes downOn the parient wating sand.A soft damp breeze caresses the treesAs I stand below, sad and lonely.The sea and the sandThey meet and touchAnd even in strifeThe merge and are one.My heart lies heavy in my chest, and my mind is dull and numb.The mist drifts down, but I don’t feelThe drop;ets that roll down my cheeks.I stand here…. Alone…. alone on a fogbound coast While my mind wanders far to the south.
Does anyone know the name of the movie – some kind of costumed fantasy, not animated – I saw the ad for it, but I should have written down the name – as well as the channel that will be broadcast on Nov 11? I have no TV reception and I wanna ask a friend to tape it for me.
Hello, hello all you good people..Our good weather is coming to an end, rain starts today, snow over night in the higher places..Keep’em coming Slim, me likey..I’m not a hunter, (watched to many white tails disappearing into the bushes) but Deer Hunting begins day after tomorrow, there will be mucho people in the woods.One sad note, a hunter was shot and killed in NH.
