She has cut the calories slightly, because she uses less milk that way.

Mmm, cereal. The way these cereals are made, they’re more like a dessert than a “breakfast”. Kinda like pancakes – butter, syrup, and lots of carbs for breakfast.

I have to make sure that whatever cereal I get, it’s not worth eating without milk, or I’ll snack on it.

I only buy rolled oats for cooking and a few other cereals with no sweetener that I keep for baking experiments as well. Any carbs that I eat, I always check “serving size” and make sure mine is less (WITHOUT eating any extra ;-)

I only eat musli ( a german cereal made of oatmeal, dried fruits and raisins) which is very tasty, but has no sugar, so is not at all fattening! And I eat a small bowl, not the biggie Claire uses!

I know I shouldn’t mess with technicalities, especially since I’m commenting two days later, but Uskoke, lots of dried fruits have TONS of sugar! Plus, not really so much that sugar and fat are fattening, more the calories. Just had to say that :P
