actually it is coming this way an asteroid the size of an aircraft carrier will pass by earth Tuesday it will be about 200000 miles that is about as close as the moon http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/large-asteroid-2005-yu55-passes-earth-closer-moon/story?id=14883429#.Trfc07L4WuI
__Darnit! I only have binoculars… so no friggin’ chance of seeing it. But, I suppose that IS preferable to seeing it WAY too up-close-and personal, isn’t it?
And here’s it has been cloudy and snowing all weekend. But today it’s clear! And -14ºC. :( I’m too wimpy to take out my 8" Dobsonian and wait for it to cool down enough to see anything at all.
I agree with last posters! What you won’t see does not matter! That is how I feel about how much of our whole “civilization” is going- I feel I have a max of 2 decades remaining (sorry for kids and grandkids however) :-(

I hope that gym has a liberal cancellation policy. By the way. Come see what I just found heading our way.
