Brain In A Bottle Personality PLUS Insta Charisma "FEELINGS" with your host DOCTOR WARREN FUZZY! WF: Let's communicate! Friends, today I'll focus on the inner life of a typical teen! Say! Here's one now! It's Ellen Wright, 15 years old and sharp as a sack of wet sand! BONK! WF: ...but isn't it true, Ellen, that your vapid and self-absorbed exterior masks a complex inner existence? ELLEN: Is vapid good or bad? WF: I'm asking you to describe your hopes...your dreams...your fears! Show us the real Ellen Wright! ELLEN: Um...should I go freshen up then? WF: For heaven's sake, no! Just tell us: WHAT IS ELLEN WRIGHT ABOUT?? ELLEN: She's about two feet behind you.

vapid- offering nothing that is stimulating or challenging. It’s basically just a synonym for boring. Although at the same time it could mean that Ellen is obsessed by her own elegance: vapid woman, obsessed by her own elegance. Hope this helps ;D

A lot of comic plots are just Nate drawing a comic about Ellen and Ellen showing up right behind him. To be fair to Mr. Peirce, it’s hard to come up with an original comic 6 days a week for 29 years…
