Boy: I know many consider autumn the most beautiful season, but know what I say, Jarvis? Butler: No, sir. What? Boy: I say it's the messiest season! Look at all these leaves scattered about! A veritable pigsty! It irks me that hippie tree huggers complain whenever I toss a Starbucks frappuccino cup out of the Bentley... meanwhile, Mother Nature is the biggest litterbug of them all! Butler: She does appear rather negligent. Boy: Not to mention all these rocks and stones strewn about, which are in no way biodegradable!

I fear young Master Sedgwick’s grasp of the concept nature is a bit underdeveloped….

It is true, that rocks and stones don’t degrade in 6 months when exposed to sunlight, like plastic shopping bags are supposed to. Who wrote up the environmental impact statement here?

Hurray! The return of Sedgwick Nuttingham IV! However, as a confirmed Autumn Lover, I cannot help but feel a twinge of disappointment in hearing the little blot denigrate my favourite season. E tu, Sedgie?

Wonder what the Bentley gets for gas mileage?

I hope Jim M. is reading this because I wanted to tell him how much I love this side story and interaction between Sedgwick and Jarvis. He should create a whole strip for these two. Talk about the 1% and 99%.
Would it be creepy to write him a letter stating this?

Actually it is the football players’ butts.

Darn those rocks and stones! How dare they take an epoch or two to bio-degrade!

I like it just the way it is.. moderately seasoned with the absurdities of our local Ritchey Rich.

And no, Chris, that wouldn’t be creepy, unless you enclose a pic of yourself dressed as a cat doing weird things.
