Today is Nov, 21, that means Thanksgiving was 35 days ago. Most Canadian’s have lost the “turkey” weight, and will now start putting on the ’Christmas Weight" from the dozen or so parties they will attend.

Even when I was living in Canada I rarely had the oportuniity to celebrate Canadian Thansgiving. It seems I always had to work that day. So instead, I celebrated on the Amercian Thanksgiving and got to see my Cowboys at the same time.

Actually, I am having a tofurkey, Fellow Baby for my one vegan son. The rest of us are having ham this year. He will be able to eat everything else though. Mashed taters and all that other good stuff!

I’ve got ham and my tour-duc-hen, Fellow Baby. And I’ll make some cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes & rutabagas to go with it. Perhaps some sliced pickled beats on the side.
