Never trust a squirrel’s motives. Just remember, they steal your food from bird feeders. I have yet to find a bird feeder that can outsmart a determined squirrel for long.

If you can get by with only a bird feeder consider yourself lucky. They can devastate your garden, strip your fruit trees of fruit, and destroy your attic.

I hope Pasquale get’s a Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass and this thing which tells time built right in to the stock for Xmas and evicts the tree- rat from his yard.

I’ve never understood why people that are so kind to feed the birds don’t want to feed squirrels. Is it because they don’t sing or fly? Don’t forget to feed the raccoons too.
