But wait, there’s more! The Po Peel safe on a glass shelf. My 100-year-old auntie could pick that up and carry it away. And wouldn’t even have to with the combination on the back. Besides, who on earth would want any of Joy’s baubles?

Good night all. Even you, Leaky good night wherever you are.

Good morning back atcha, Leaky… and Marg, Mikie, Capn and Radish…. and anybody who sneaks in while I’m typing…. or arrives later. Phew!

Who IS your avatar Leaky? Looks familiar— maybe like John Huston with the wrong hair. That reminds me — nice puppy, Radish.

Meanwhile, lucky for Burl that Marlene and Dale might be too dumb to get the insult in what he said, and we already know Verl and Jerry aren’t high watt bulbs.

I guess now Joy will feel safe enough to order something when she runs into a good clearance on QVC.

Last year after Christmas, she saw a “FauxLimoges©” trinket box they said was worth $949 dollars for only 3 payments of $11.98 each….

But she was afraid Verl might steal it.

    Or one of us.

GymShoe from yesterday — Yeah, from the standpoint of anybody reading my late comments, you’re right, probably few do….

But when you comment late, I pretty much always see it, along with even later posts.

There are some of us who read the last of yesterday every night before commenting “this morning” …. which for me is before bed.I go back even if it’s midnight (PST) when I get here.

I even saw Grog call Leaky a lush, sort of. (Poor Leaky had thought nobody knew about his “problem”…)

It’s hard to have secrets on this site, what with late-night roamers like me, and with your last 10 comments visible on your profile page.

And with Leaky telling everybody whenever you’re in jail.

    @SusanSunshine

Well….OK then…. For the record…. I am making comment #18 at 8:15 AM…. Today I am focusing on the jaw of teeth in Joy’s curio cabinet….. I think this is called a “dental bridge”….Highly collectable because it is made of semi-precious metals…. and invloves great artistry…. A beauty to behold….! ! !

Valuables? As Oddball’s sidekick Moriarity would say, “It’s a pile of junk!”

Leaky, I’m pretty sure you had a good time last night, whether or not you indulged yourself. I’m glad Mr. Brees took the record away from Marino. For all his passing records, he had little else to show for it and certainly not a Superbowl ring.

Leaky, as an Auburn fan, I should cheer for LSU, but I’ll probably be cheering for ’Bama anyway.

I may use milk for cooking purposes on occasion, but I rarely drink it. In my opinion, chile & beer go best with football – but not too much of either.

I don’t think it has dawned on them that no one can see the figurines in the safe. They could have saved the money and just put the figuines in a drawer.

Pity, i think the safe cost more than anything that has been placed in it.

When the safe falls it won’t just break the figurines under it. It will shake up its contents and they will break too. Of course they can save them for next Christmas and send the pieces to their friends (for lack of a better word). When thier friends tell them they arrived broken, they can whine that the post office must have been clumsy.

Hi Crustwoodians! Welcome back Leaky. It is a rainy, soupy day here in Columubs, Oh., hope you fellow Crustwoodians are having better weather wherever you are residing.

Leaky, you have got to be on top of the world! I, too, think that LSU will rise up like a mighty stream and push back the tide. (lower case intentional!) Geaux Tigers!

On another matter, I have a DNA hit from the trash left behind by the guys in the electronics van as well as optical and infrared satellite imagery. (Leaky you dog! We got heat images through the ceiling and the roof. The Italian supermodel must have been quite talented.) I know that real-world DNA analysis takes weeks, but I prefer to use the lab that Marg Helgenberger uses—BTW, I still have images of her in “China Beach” burned into my memory!) I also have an anonymous tip. We should discuss a settlement so I can award the prize.

Aha! Leaky is the only person I know, apparently, who gets drunk on milk!

I’m not much of an alcohol drinker either… when I didn’t drink at Christmas, cos I was driving home afterward, someone said “Oh, right, you had your semi-annual glass of wine at Thanksgiving.”

OH, and GymShoe — Motel 2 is funny. About their speed.

And I was going to say the same, sorta, about their collectibles. Nothing glass and little china — most of it is “resincast”.

    Dollar Store, Franklin Mint, etc.

Grog, Any sports blog that I read that has Auburn fans posting, they basically all say the same thing (with the exception of you)……………Their favorite team is Auburn, and anybody who’s playing against Alabama. They really have a hatred for that team. They even call them “updykes” (The last name of the man who poisoned those beautiful trees)

Leaky, I think the difference is I’ve always been a fan of the SEC from my days in Canada. Believe me, there are teams out there that I loath a lot more than Alabama. USC & “The U” top my list of most hated teams.

I thought I posted this morning but maybe never hit “submit”. I have many things that my kids may think are not valuable and I have told them so when discussing my possible will. As we have to do our RMDs (and I need them) I have no idea just what I may leave to the kids (but fortunately they may all have more than I could leave them). I do not buy any Objet Art from QVC as Susan suggested and although many of mine are just simple work from those who do work- carving of horn and special skills of other sorts. I thought I mentioned some of my collection like a seriagraph with an oversized matt and all acid free framing; the piece only cost $1650, but I framed it with great flourish! I enjoy all my art and collection, and the kids may get $$ for it all. I use no safes, but have a little extra insurance on that and my fur coat
