Poor, poor Miss Othmar. Where do all the good teachers go?

Not a good sign.

Teachers today would be thrilled that their students brought in all the required notes, forms, excuses, and money. Now they have to call parents over and over, to tell the something that was in the two letters sent home, on the school web page, in a reminder note, and announced to the class every day for two weeks. Then they say, “Nobody told us.” I am not making this up.

I’d love to have seen a teacher actually crawl up a blackboard when I was a kid.

Guys? Politics on the front page, opinion in the editorial section.This is the comics. Ease up.

There is no such thing as respect anymore. You couldn’t pay me enough to teach kids today. Parents who don’t care and/or believe their kids can ‘do no wrong’ don’t help the situation, either.

It’s no wonder teachers go off the deep end. NO backing from parent, NO backing from the police, they can’t even sent the trouble makes to the principal!

I thought there were only thirty kids in his class?

Why do people think that if teachers don’t want to live in poverty they must not think the kids are important.

So teachers should make the best students, autoworkers should make the best cars, bankers should make the best salaries? Yup, sounds about right…
