He means the hand print they are going to get on their bottom sides for messing up the glass. Generally more of a threat than follow though by most grown-ups when kids are just playing.
Yes, Raspberry, it’s a kid’s job to make a mess, but it’s a mom’s job to holler when they do it! Don’t give me that “I’m so cute” look, boy! Here’s the windex!
Geez Elly there are far worse things than your kids facial features prints on windows. Be lucky it’s not a marker on a wall or paint on your floor. Besides, if you’re gonna yell at your kids, yell at me too because I do this too, usually in the form of a steamy bathroom mirror with a message on it for Billy when he steps out of the shower. Kids being kids.
JanuAaronry – you took the words right out of my mouth. Know what my mom would have done? Joined us in print making and then we all would have cleaned the window together.
i worked in a convenience store once. its amazing how often you need to clean that door. and not just after the kids. that i can understand. its the stupid adult hand prints that got me ticked.
This seems like an excessive and ridiculous use of spanking, even just in the form of a threat. This is by far the least disorderly thing children could be doing, far more constructive than some of the messes they could be making AND they’re getting along and not fighting. She should have joined in with the kids as a bonding experience and then showed them how to clean up after themselves. I mean, it’s not that much of a chore washing 1 window, a couple quick sptizes from the bottle of window wash and a minute to wipe it down and you’re done. Instead she stifles their creative outlet, rather than finding a way to turn it into a positive experience for them. Would she be happier if they sat like zombies in front of the TV?

The younger the child, the cuter the face print.

Ellie, have fun with it. Let them play a bit and later today show them how to clean it up.

I’m 60 and I still can’t understand why grown-ups get annoyed about drawing on the windows!

I’m pretty sure @DonPotter was being sarcastic, everyone, judging by the smiley face after his comment.

I used to make prints on windows and my three kids did the same thing. Let kids be kids. They look like two Muppets in the last panel.

Let them have their fun now then show them how to clean it up afterwards. It’s not that big a deal!

A spanking is not child abuse. Beating is child abuse. It’s sad that people can’t tell the difference.

they don’t even look like they belong in the last panel. That long nose and straight across mouth is very odd for her work.

@ serenasakitty Do you not know what :-) means? FYI it’s a smiley face which to most people means just kidding. Sheesh.
