Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley for December 14, 2011
Transcript:
Satchel: Wow... Your kill-o-rant has a huge menu... What are "sea wallet gobs"? Bucky: Claims. I'm trying to give everything on my menu a catchy name. Satchel: Ok, then what is a "bluefish"? Bucky: I couldn't think of a better name for them, they're just "bluefish," I guess. Satchel: Well, if you served it in a salad, you could call it "surf & turf." Bucky: Brilliant. And that'll add five dollars to the price.

Marketing is everything. Put little Smurf hats on the bluefish and the deal is sealed.1 Fish, 2 Fish, redfish, Smurfs in a Caesar.

wait…isn’t “turf” associated with beef? What’s with the salad?

How about all-can-eat Fugo?
j2p2 about 13 years ago
All-you-can-eat has an entirely different meaning when the sushi can kill you…

Poor Smurfs! (though, I must say, this seems like a shameless plug for the Smurfs!… They do have a DVD that just came out and all… :)). Or, if these are reruns, I don’t know… :( I’d hate to think Darby’s getting bored or can’t think of things to write up… I’m sure he could get great ideas from us on here!! My vote’s on sending Bucky to a vet… A bath, though, maybe too horrific…

If Bucky called it an Organic Smurf & Turf he could charge $20 more.
