I’m a website developer, and using IE is one thing. But if you’re still using IE7 I’m going to come over to your house and destroy your computer with a sledge hammer. And pull your internet connection out of the wall.
Mike? That you? Small world.Say, can anybody here read the tiny, blurry text in the pop-up? I can make out some of it, but probably not the funny parts.
“You have made Internet Explorer angry and it will now close.“Internet Explorer likes pointless toolbars and does not tolerate their removal by such as you.“[something] to try to [something] the browser.“Please tell Microsoft about this problem.“We like to hear about people foolish enough to do this and I have prepared a report for you to send us.“To see technobabble you don’t understand click here“[button I can’t read] “Don’t Send”
Even with Firefox you have to watch out for the various free programs you download because you need to unclick the downloading of search machines and toolbars.
I just had to make a change to tomorrow’s strip. A website I included a link to in the “search fields” won’t be done in time, so I had to come up with a new link. Sigh.
Internet Exploder. I like that. I’ll have to remember it. Of course, we all know about Trash-80s. Start the tape in the morning, go to work, come back at 8pm and it should just have finished reading the … ooops, it just crashed…

Took this long to make Internet Explorer angry? Firefox would have killed her by 8pm Tuesday…
And let’s not discuss Google Chrome. It’s kind of stupid.

Maybe she could have avoided all this drama by going to the Opera.

I went to the NAQV homepage and found a huge blowup of this strip; you can see it here.

Echelon Mall got so empty that the township took it over and tore down half of it. It’s “Voorhees Town Square” now. Sad.

Usually prefer Firefox. Chrome is stupid sometimes, and IE never wants to work right anyway…

Thanks, Pab! I never saw the strip so clearly — this is a “That Tree Has Leaves” moment for me.
(Not sure why online comics aren’t larger, actually. I can’t be the only middle-aged guy with glasses in the audience.)

p.s. The December 9th strip (on the above website) is ever scarier than the toolbars!
