    My Mom did that to me also… now I’m virtually ambidextrous; I write with my right hand, but can do almost anything else with either hand

    That’s very bad for you. It almost always leaves you will illegible handwriting, and makes doing other things awkward with either hand.

    My daughter is left handed. I have heard I will have a battle with the local schools over them trying to “fix” her.

    OK, it turns out both my youngest kids are left handed. My daughter was 2 before we were sure. My son was obviously favoring the left had at 4 months.

    My left hands stronger but I write with my write hand. And my handwriting with both hands is basically the same. I potty my old teachers

    @Leviticus – One of the problems with left-handedness is writing. Your hand moves over what you’ve just written, often resulting in a smear.

    I’m a lefty too. But I use scissors with my right hand. Ain’t that weird?
