That looks like it might actually be Adam West in the costume. Based on the cars and architecture in the background, I suspect this photo may have been taken somewhere in England.

Half of my favorites don’t load today. I get a window that says it’ll be on shortly, meanwhile visit our puzzle page. I think it’s a goCommies plot to give that site some action. Now that it’s let me on FA, it’s yesterday’s strip.

When my favorite cat (who just moved in one day and settled) got hit by a car, I ached for days afterward. Not as much for my college buddy who committed suicide, though. I used to think people who mourned losing their pets were weird.. No more.

Should read, “…not as much as for my college buddy…” What an awful typo that was!

Just reading a story that contained Henry II, and the killing of Becket.

Before I heard the audio recording demonstrating “Vocal Fry,” I was saying to myself, “Oh, good grief!” expecting it to be some incredibly lame trend where people try to sound like they’re speaking through and Autotune filter or something equally daft.

I was surprised, however, to hear a sound that’s not at all new. As for as I know, I’ve been hearing people make that sound in normal conversation for as far back as I can remember.

I think usually when I hear somebody make that sound, it’s because they’re saying “ahhh….” as they’re trying to formulate a thought or find the right words to express that thought.

No FA, and incredibly slow loading for a week or there abouts….GoComics is more hassle than it’s worth……
