Three Steps, Ouch! Although all the comments here are incredibly funny, I think you nailed the best line on the last day of the year….Hey, and you brought it in before deadline!
Actually, this year, I think we would all be blessed if Wiley was a political cartoonist. There is so much material out there right now………..I swear, Kurt Vonnegut is writing reality now…..
The Liberals commenteing here are easy to spot because their solution to every problem is to make more rules and exert more control.
@puddleglum – that’s not Keynesian economics! Keynes was all about the government infusing money into the market for stimulus. Our elections are still completely financed by personal donations and private wealth, all voluntary. Well, unless you count union dues and such. Still not government money being used though.
Obama is terrible, but I have problems with the Repub clowns – no realistic 3rd party yet and no “None of the above” spot so I will have to wait to find someone to vote for.
all the conservative and liberals in the comments above me pissing at one another is the reason i hate politics. if they all spent 1/4 of the time trying to find common ground instead of pounding on there differences mabie something constrictive could get done.
The Moses cartoon the other day has been the final straw. I’m done with this cartoon. People can feel free to mock my religion or be obnoxious about politics (I agree that election years are a pain, but there have been some really obnoxious politcal cartoons in this), but that doesn’t mean I have to pay attention. People mocked Galileo, but that didn’t mean he was wrong. Bye bye.
I can sure empathize with the guy in the comic — kinda feeling that way myself. It’s going to be a really ugly year — and just in case that wasn’t enough, it’s a Leap Year too!
re the NDAA, anybody hear of “enemy combatant”? nothing new there ‘cept for the signing statement that says we won’t do it… and NO ONE was able to work in “fate worse than death” anywhere? LOL!

Never has been easy. Is it better to slog through a pile of poo or swim in a puddle of pee? Either way, you best hold your breath.

Cut the campaign season down to 3 months. Unfortunately, compressing that much nonsense into such a short span would probably rupture our universe.

One advantage of registering as an independent is you get less mail during primaries.

It’s all a matter of perspective (Pearls 12/26). Election years generate some of the best humor that the media has to offer.
