Adam: The day after Christmas is my favorite time of year. Clayton: What? Why? Adam: It's the longest possible time until I have to hear "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" again. Clayton: What? That song's a classic! Adam: Yeah. Maybe the first 10,000 times you hear it. After that it's like an icicle in your eardrum. Clayton: Better than that Perry Como bologna you like. Adam: Perry Como is for the intelligent listener... Elmo and Patsy are for the... Clayton: ...More intelligenter.

I figure it’ll be late March / early April before I get “Grandma…” out of my head.

my husband works at a Family Christian bookstore, and by Christmas Eve, he was ready to shoot out the speakers whenever Amy Grant started singing “Sleigh Ride.”

I feel your pain, Adam. I once helped at a Christmas craft show where a friend was exhibiting. Elmo and Patsy were part of the entertainment. I had to listen to Grandma get creamed by that Reindeer every hour on the half hour. It’s a good season if I can get through it without having to hear “Grandma” or the dogs barking Jingle Bells.

Its not Christmas for me until I hear Grandma get run over! And I only heard it twice this year but I am a happy camper cuz I got to hear it. Now the barking dogs get on my nerves and I like my dogs but really not in a Noel way.

I’ve managed to avoid that particular song, but we didn’t have a white Christmas here in Happy Valley, which makes me sad.

A Fraser and Lucy fan! You have excellent taste, if I do say so myself! :-D

I didn’t get to hear the 12 Days of Chrismas once! Love that one, because until I figured out how to roll the Christmas lights up so they didn’t tangle, that was me!

I’ll be happy if I never have to hear “Holly Jolly Christmas” again. It seemed like they were playing that constantly this year. But the worst one was “Silent Night” sung by Chewbacca… even worse than the singing dogs!
