I think that’s called a “murse.” Welcome home, Leaky. You won’t believe the people we have had to put up with who had stolen your identity. Whew!

At least the Gus has come out and said what we all have suspected about Jerry; that at best he’s a switch hitter. But he’s a credit to neither team and probably been optioned by both.

Nice to see a change of venue in today’s strip. Have we ever seen the “Gus bus” before? And I had never suspected Jerry . I think Gus is just being crude cos (as Susan would say) Jerry insulted his bus.

G’morning all, and glad to see leaky using his real moniker. Jerry has a murse for all the appropriations that these folks seem to do (since he doesn’t always have Verle with him). I think any lily of the valley perfume is most likely on Jerry as he is very hirsute and probably does not bathe as often as he should – eew! Nothing worse than perfumed old sweat. I figure Burl to be relatively neutral.

Only thing added with magnifier is that Jer’s jacket (tucked in) is “Any” Members, rather than “Only”.

And I dont care what she says………vldazzle will be planted in front of the tv with a large double pepperoni pizza, a six pack of miller light and a pack of cigarettes!! You know how she is.

Anyone know what Jerry does for a paycheck (assuming the “Giggilo” gig isn’t going as planned)?

Ms. Larson states she is really making fun of herself but I don’t believe it. Not unless she has exceedingly low self-esteem and is full of self-loathing. I am always embarrassed for her citizens of Crustwood.So why do I keep reading it? Maybe because we all need someone to look down upon?

I don’t mind if college football is discussed, I find it to be rather fun. The season is almost over, and new topics will arise. :-)

And there is always the option of skipping comments that don’t interest you. :-)

If these discussions bother you, the simple solution is don’t read them. Just skip over them. You know, play like, theyre not there.

We’ll be thinking of you tonight. Still, there are some of us who think a match-up with Oklahoma State would have been better, considering tha LSU and ’bama have already played this year. A wildcat offense against a granite block defense.

Anyway when he says he smells pansies, I take it as not as an actual floral scent, but a dig at Jerry for wearing sweet cologne — or maybe at their wussiness in general, cos Burl’s no he-man.

As for football comments, I have to skip ‘em anyway cos they’re in Greek or something.

I suppose Missjunebg and I could start talking about Red Hat….LOL

@Leaky, I was planted in front of the TV watching last night’s Chef Roble and Desperate Housewives among others (and I only have a beer when that’s what is available on a hot day (no margs) I had my gin on the rocks and my little ration of organic dark chocolate. Since I’m going upstairs to my bedtime sitcoms and TV toons at 8, all the shows I watch in daytime are from day before (except the morning news).

Good to hear from Susan, and I agree, it’s not time to learn to be totally good, but since it is no good to live without good health, I do what I can (within my comfort zone) to stay free of any medication. My last Dr would have put me on statins for cholesterol but I fixed it without. If anyone is interested, Dr OZ had another “alternative” doctor McCullough who also agrees with me that diet and lifestyle can fix those problems and the medicines should be avoided ;-)

I agree the game stuff is in Greek or other indecipherable language, though I watched one game here a few years ago when my youngest son was visiting and wanted me to keep him company. He made the interactions just barely interesting and his enthusiasm was contagious.

Leaky, under 10 minutes and 15 points to make. Large challenge.

Well I think ’Bama just sealed the deal. Of course with a little over 4 minutes left, LSU can still win, but they need 3 scores.I think I can rest in peace – or pieces.

Well, my poor tigers were beaten like a rented mule!!Alabama outplayed, outcoached and just plain put the beat down on us, and they made it look E-A-S-YThey are the undisputed #1team in the country.Congrats to Bama!!!!

I said if we lost I would not post for 2 months…………I will honor my word. I will read the comments…………..Ya’ll play nice and I’ll see you good people in 2!!!
