Glad Paul got her away from the computer. Digital stuff is sometimes fun. Still, work rules too much over our lives; and digital things are often enablers of that.
The magic of the first snowstorm of the winter season…….clean, quiet, peaceful. Then the magic is gone when the shovel hits the hand and the back is bending to clean a path.Aah but those first snowy moments are……..magic? Or maybe……nightmare? We all have our own perspective and I have both magic and nightmare!
My brother and I were walking one morning after the first frost and we both commented at how beautiful the greenery looked. He began to talk about the chemical properties of water, and I, being a plant biologist, quickly asked him to stop before “too much work ruined a magical moment.” But the real magic was when he, a guard at the local dump, reminded me that to him, the amazing ability of water to form into crystals is exactly what was so magical about it!

@Simpsonfan, the Calvin must be older since I believe there are no new strips (but they are fun and I may return to vintage eventually).
