Delores: So I don't know how to use a lawn mower. What's the big hoo-ha? Chuck: Mowing represents pride! Pride in your home! Pride in your town! Chuck: Hometown pride! Banks: Plus, if you don't learn they'll brand you a witch and set fore to you and your long, hippy grass.

Delores should learn to use a scythe. THEN people would keep clear of her…

Some things are just best hired done. Remember the days when teenagers would cut grass for money. Me neither. But my parents talk about it. We have a guy that has a custom lawn service and a three legged dog that follows his lawn mower around all day. Another lawn guy that carries a bible on his mower. Yet another neighbor that fenced his yard and had sheep to keep the grass short.

Think that Banks is probably closer to the truth. We had a three-acre back yard (used to be pasture) that I let grow for several years. Finally had to hire the guy down the road to come and make hay from it.
