There was a whole year or two with them being married. IMO some of the best part of The Norm.

The sound my coffeemaker makes, it wouldn’t be safe for me to hear it in my sleep.

This is a colorized strip from Jan 6, 1996. Not quite at the beginning but not very far from it.

I thought that gocomics did this strip before: found it near the beginning. http://www.gocomics.com/thenorm/2007/01/08 Personally I’m hoping that Jantze is doing new strips and just fell behind, but I’m not holding my breath…

I recently discovered the French press. It couldn’t set off any alarms, but its results sure get me up in the morning.

Michael – Since you do read these comments, can you point us to a “The Norm” blog or something? I wanna know what’s going on with the comic these days, and what I have to look forward to here.

I would have sworn there were more comics of them being a couple or married.

This was always one of my favorite strips, right next to Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts and Arlo and Janus.

Hope to see more work with TheNorm in the future Mr. Jantze.

Sorry for the delay here on gocomics…I do plan to rerun the “single years” strips again. Norm telling Reine he loves her is the end of that story…As for the married years…I’m still trying to finish that story…You can read how Norm and Reine hook up in “The 12 Steps to Marriage” (out of print but available on Amazon.com and Alibris) … available as a Kindle book now and a Nook/iBook soon.
