Actually, last I checked, public phones are getting harder and harder to find. I haven’t seen a phone booth in years.

But with that said, to answer your question Pouncingtiger….Yes.

Sure, you lifted up the handset and asked the operator to connect you with KLondike5 2400.

We have a ‘pay phone’ at the historical museum where I volunteer. Most children under 12 do not know what it is. Nor have they seen one before coming to the museum.

If that’s the case, how come my grandkids know how to use the internet, cable TV, the DVR, and smartphones better than most grownups? Inept be as inept do.

Haha, I like that being able to use “old” technology is how people measure whether future generations are “inept.” Future generations will simply learn how to use new technology. And yes, if that technology breaks down or is taken away, then we’ll be “inept” at the old technology, but not completely inept.

Also, I love the common reference to bitcoin. I hope everyone who reads this comic goes and learns about new technology bitcoin which will revolutionize the banking industry!

Buy some bitcoins now, because in a few years, you’ll be happy you did!
