This strip will go down in history as the first documented case of anyone claiming to like Windows Vista. After enough installs, you realize that O.S. means something other than operating system.

I’ve heard a number of people saying that Vista is a memory hog. Agreed that buying a brand new version before any service packs are out isn’t the safest thing.
Well about a week ago I bought a new PC, with the new Windows 7 OS installed. I’ve run numerous diagnostics (CHKDSK, registry cleaners, defrag, etc., etc.) and so far the thing runs beautifully, but there were a couple of issues. First of all, the geek websites where I get my fixes and info from all agree; Vista was pretty much Windows 7 beta. I’m not sure about the Service Pack thing, I think that might be obsolete in favor of an icon on the task bar that tells you if there is a Windows update in need of installation, I turned that on automatic, so I get a small pop up indicating when an update has been installed.

Why did everyone hate Vista? It has a few bugs, but it was good. My theory is that people hate change. Even good change.

As most everyone knows, there is Law, and then there is Married Law. They are NOT the same.

LOL people who hate Vista because advertising told them to.
LOL people who only dealt with Vista before SP1 and formed their opinion from that.
You NEVER buy a new Windows OS until they’ve developed the first service pack for it.
